2004 Silverado Trailer Brake Wiring Diagram. All feature a factory-fitted round seven-pin hitch mounted to the rear of the truck adjacent to the tow package, so wiring a trailer brake control to. The wiring to the controller seems simple enough, but if there's a factory plug on the truck that would be even better.
Does the brake controller work properly with a trailer connected? Never put your trailer on the road with questionable wiring or a lighting system that is already known to be failing. Do you have more diagrams that I can get?
It has trailer ready wiring, i.e. it has some wires run to the rear of the pickup for lighting.
I can't seem to find a wiring.
The trailer has electric over hydraulic brakes. I am replacing my brake controller with a new Prodigy but I have long lost the wiring diagram that shows what wire does what coming out from under the dash Ford says: White ground Dark Blue Trailer electric brake feed from brake controller (output) Light Green Vehicle stop lamp switch to brake controller (input) Red. A lot of Chevrolet Silverado pickup owners have become very cautious drivers.
